Business Department
The Department of Technology and Information Business Administration is one of the prominent academic departments at the Institute, and aims to prepare distinguished cadres who possess theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the fields of modern management, technology, accounting, marketing, and information systems. The department includes several specialized academic sections that enable students to specialize in a variety of fields that can satisfy the needs of various institutions and the labor market.
The department includes the following branches:
- Accounting and Auditing Branch:
It was established by a ministerial decision on 10 January 1999, and began its studies
in the academic year 1999/2000. Specialization in this section starts from the fourth year, where students receive specialized courses in financial accounting, auditing, and financial reporting, which enhance their professional readiness for the requirements of the labor market.
- Marketing Branch:
It was also established by a ministerial decision on September 10, 2000, and started studying in the academic year 2000/2001, and aims to qualify students in the fields of modern marketing, consumer behavior, promotion, and market research.
- Business Information Systems Branch:
It was established by a ministerial decision on June 9, 2001, and the study actually started in the academic year 2001/2002, and it is concerned with qualifying students in the field of using information systems in the business environment, and the applications of technology in administrative and financial decision-making.
- The Economics Branch:
It was also established by a ministerial decision on June 9, 2001, and the study actually began in the academic year 2001/2002, and aims to develop students' understanding of the theoretical and applied economic foundations and their impact on the business environment.
- Business Administration Branch:
It is one of the main sections of the department, and it focuses on providing students with the necessary knowledge and skills in public administration, human resource management, organizational behavior, and strategic planning.
The Department of Technology and Information Business Administration continuously seeks to develop its academic programs in line with scientific and technological developments, and to meet the needs of the market in both public and private sectors.
