Prof. Dr. Abdelkader Abdelkarim – Dean of the Institute – conducted a field visit to the headquarters of Vivo, the global mobile manufacturing company, accompanied by Dr. Nour Said – Supervisor of the Alumni Affairs and Employment Department at the Institute – on Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

The delegation was received by Mr. Zhengming Wang, Director of Vivo Global Mobile Manufacturing, along with the HR Manager, Production Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager at the factory.

The visit began with a presentation about the company, showcasing the development of its products and their expansion in both the Egyptian and global markets.

This was followed by a tour of the highly advanced factory, including the production line, assembly line, and packaging line, along with the quality assurance tests conducted at each stage to ensure product excellence.

During the visit, around 100 CVs of the Institute’s graduates from various disciplines – Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Accounting – were submitted. The company contacted some of them yesterday as the first batch, and interviews are scheduled to begin today, October 22, 2025, at the company’s headquarters.
