Higher Technological Institute in 10th of Ramadan Hosts Sumo Robot – Error Competition 2025 (Second Edition)

As part of its ongoing commitment to supporting innovation, scientific research, and outstanding student activities, the Higher Technological Institute (HTI) in 10th of Ramadan City proudly hosted the Sumo Robot – Error Competition 2025 (Second Edition) — the official qualifying round in Egypt for the Japan 2025 World Finals 🇯🇵. The competition was organized by the IEEE HTI Scientific Society, under the supervision of the Department of Electrical Engineering and the Student Welfare Department, and was graciously sponsored by the Institute’s top management, headed by Prof. Dr. Abdelkader Abdelkarim. The Institute covered all organizational expenses and awards, ensuring a level of excellence befitting its prestigious academic reputation. The event witnessed strong participation from student teams representing various Egyptian universities and institutes. At the conclusion of the competition, the following teams qualified to represent Egypt 🇪🇬 in the Japan 2025 World Finals 🇯🇵: 🥇 RC – 3Kg: AL HARIFA 🥇 Autonomous – 3Kg: Botcelona (HTI) 🥇 RC – 500g: TITANS 🥇 Autonomous – 500g: Bullet (HTI) The Institute extends its sincere congratulations to all the winning teams and wishes the HTI teams the very best of success in the upcoming world finals in Japan — continuing to make Egypt proud on the global stage.
